The Village of Marvin recently completed the purchase of land that will be developed into a community park.
According to a quote in the Union County Weekly, the park, adjacent to the Walden Pond neighborhood, is intended to be a "passive park in a manner that is in keeping with the natural setting of the land, with uses that are truly passive and in peaceful harmony with its surroundings and nearby residential neighbors."
