Charlotte Unemployment Rate Rises in May
According to the Charlotte Business Journal, Charlotte's unemployment rate rose to 10.4% in May from 10.3% in April. Union County's unemployment rate remains unchanged at 8.7%.

Chalotte Adds Jobs
Good news for the Charlotte region! According to the Charlotte Business Journal, the city added 7,600 new jobs in the year, making it number 28 in the country in terms of "largest metro areas for job growth in the past 12 months."
